January Air Traffic Soars

In spite of the dismal weather blanketing North Central Idaho in January, air traffic at the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport soared.  Total landings and takeoffs hit 1,690 in January 2018, a 67% increase over the 1,009 totals in January 2017.  Airline activity accounted for 430 of the operations compared to 391 in 2017, while general aviation activity went from 604 operations in 2017 to 1,248 operations in January 2018.

The Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport provides quick, cost-effective, convenient air service for North Central Idaho, Southeastern Washington, and Northeastern Oregon.  Daily flights are available to Seattle, Boise, and Salt Lake City with connections anywhere in the world.
