More SLC International Flights Could be Good News for LWS Travelers

A new direct Delta flight to Miami this winter could be just the start of an even better travel experience for customers coming and going through the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport.

Ed Bastion, the airline’s new CEO also predicted direct flights into Latin America, larger commercial aircraft, and a “streamlined and technologically advanced experience when Salt Lake City International’s $2.6 billion redevelopment project is complete, slated for 2020,” that, according to Kristin Murphy, Deseret News.  Delta’s new CEO visited Salt Lake City last week and presented an optimistic message of growth and partnership with Utah’s international airport.

“Having Delta prepared to expand its role in the Utah economy is good news for North Central Idaho, Southeastern Washington, and Northeastern Oregon,” said Stephanie Morgan, Manager of the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport where Delta operates three daily, round-trip flights to Salt Lake City.
